Caleb is the youngest of 6 children of renowned Western American Impressionist Robert Moore and Rebecca Moore. Throughout his upbringing, he traveled on many plein air painting trips with his father who took every opportunity to teach many different principles of art. He has worked with his dad and seen his process of painting over the past two summers, and this closer collaboration awakened a desire to focus more fully on the creative process and begin to produce pieces of his own.
Having grown up with this exposure to the art world, he took art his first semester at college at the University of Arkansas. He then transferred colleges to pursue track and field. Caleb is currently enrolled and competing at Lewis-Clark State College. While in college, he kept in touch with his dad and siblings, 3 of whom are also professional artists. The four of them sent their projects back and forth to give input and encourage each other to keep creating.
During the fall 2020 semester Caleb was presented with the opportunity to participate in his first fine art show – a Children of Robert Moore exhibit - at Dana Gallery in Missoula, Montana. This experience gave him the chance to work on sculptures in his free time, refining the capture of the essence of his reference, and to find his own distinct process. We are excited for the opportunity to have Caleb add the Mystic Trinity Fine Art Gallery to his emerging gallery portfolio!
